THRACE, Byzantium. Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. Æ (33mm, 21.58 g, 1h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Three nude athletes with an agonistic urn at their feet. Schönert-Geiss 1755 (V215/R404); Varbanov 1912. Dark green patina with earthen highlights/deposits, cleaning scratches. VF. Very rare, only two examples in CoinArchives.
